My new workshop
It's nice having a brick garage but when you have as much stuff as me it's still not enough. I'm lucky to have a big garden and so I picked out a space for a new workshop to go in. There's no way I can afford another brick built one so it had to be made of wood. I found a firm on e bay that makes them to order and took the plunge. It's 18' x 12' and I'm not in the least bit disappointed, it's great and it will soon be in use once I've finished boarding it out and getting my bench erected etc.
Harley completed.......for now.
Harley all back together and on the road, brand new MOT all done. Still loads of jobs to do on it but that will be for next winter. Just looking forward to riding it now. I highly recommend a hydraulic clutch conversion, it's easy to do and makes a difference, giving a light feel to the clutch.

Ok, change of hours at work means more time for me. I've been hard at it and have decided to do some jobs on the Harley. I wanted to strip it down fully but as things with the house are still on going I've decided just to get some of the jobs done that I've collected parts for over the past few months. Rear wheel, bars, risers, hydraulic clutch conversion using new slave cylinder and V Rod master cylinders and a few other bits and bobs.
How it was when I got it, you just can't see the rust.
Hydraulic clutch slave cylinder.
Test fit of the new bars. 16" Burly bars.
Tank off and ready for surgery.
Looking scruffy with rust pipes.

Rust old wheel out.
Sexy new Harley Deuce wheel in.
Goodridge brake hoses.
Pro One hydraulic clutch fitted.
Wiring through the bars, nice and neat.
Back on it's wheels for a pose outside.
Nice arse!
Turned around and front end coming out.
Front end out ready for forks to be sent off for a new coat of hard chrome, the one's in a pitted to death.

It's been a while.....
Well I've just finished 14 months working the worst ever shift pattern known to man. I've literally had no time for anything but work and sleep. Now I actually have more than 1 or 2 days off work in a row so I will be updating my blog when I can and doing a bit more bike related stuff.
I've collected some parts for various bikes that I own and now it's time to pull my finger out and get some jobs done.
Watch this space, my diary says I'll be in my garage tomorrow.
